Furnaces boxed on for a credible sixth in the major Group 1 Golden Slipper (1200m) last time out and undoubtedly headlines the 2015 Kindergarten Stakes final field.

Finishing outside the first three on only the one occasion so far, Furnaces debuted with an impressive seven length win in a Rosehill minor over 1100m in October; returning this year for a close second to Haptic in the Listed Lonhro Plate (1100m) and Vancouver in the Group 2 Todman Stakes (1200m) leading into the Golden Slipper.

Allocated barrier 7, Furnaces has been confirmed to be partnered by James McDonald on Day 1 of The Championships.

Redzel debuted for an impressive victory last time out, and is positioned well in barrier 4 to posting maiden black type success in the 2015 Kindergarten Stakes.

Running fairly in a pair of Rosehill barrier trials prior to his debut, Redzel jumped from the gates well in the TAB Maiden Handicap (1100m) on March 19th, settling in prime position on the heels of the race’s early leaders before displaying a keen turn of foot to hit the line more than three lengths in the clear of his closest rival.

Confirmed to be partnered by leading jockey Hugh Bowman, Redzel was also included in nominations for the Group 1 Sires’ Produce Stakes this weekend but is offered a great chance of success in the Kindergarten.

Bart and James Cummings saddled subsequent two-time Group 1 champion Hallowed Crown to success in the 2014 edition of the Kindergarten Stakes and are offered a good chance of defending the title via classy filly Tempt Me Not.

One of the most experienced runners confirmed to contest the Kindergarten Stakes this year, Tempt Me Not debuted for a close second in a Randwick maiden in mid-October before returning to the paddock.

Resuming a credible fifth in the Group 3 Widden Stakes (1100m), the Strategic Maneuver filly progressed to consecutive fourth place finishes in minor races before breaking through for a maiden race win in the Pantry Packers Maiden Plate (9000m) last time out on March 28th.

Charged with carrying just 54.5kgs, Tempt Me Not has been confirmed to be partnered by in-form jockey Craig Williams.
