Sooboog ($2.30) has contested just one competitive start to date but has opened as and maintained status as outright favourite for success in 2015 Kindergarten Stakes betting markets ahead of Furnaces ($3) and Redzel ($5) with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au.

Will Sooboog justify favouritism and win the 2015 Kindergarten Stakes or will one of his talented rivals find the line in the clear?

1st

Furnaces ($3)

Claiming one race wins and two minor place finishes through his four start career so date, Furnaces enters the 2015 Kindergarten Stakes as one of the most experienced in the field and will be particularly difficult to beat despite drawing barrier 7. Taking out the Primo Moraitis Plate (1100m) by close to seven lengths in October, Furnaces returned for second in both the Listed Lonhro Plate (1100m) and Group 2 Todman Stakes (1200m) before placing a commendable sixth in the Group 1 Golden Slipper (1200m) last time out. Confirmed to be partnered by leading jockey James McDonald, the son of Exceed And Excel offers great value for money at current odds.

2nd

Sooboog ($2.30)

While yet to appear on course in 2015, Sooboog’s debut performance was enough rate him as a leading chance for success in the Kindergarten Stakes. Jumping from the gates well in the Listed NSW Thoroughbred Breeders’ Stakes (1000m), the Snitzel colt settled within the field of eleven and received an ideal run in transit; displaying a keen turn of foot to finish a close second to subsequent Golden Slipper champion and dominant colt Vancouver. Allocated the ideal barrier 3, Sooboog has been confirmed to be partnered by Tommy Berry this weekend.

3rd

Tempt Me Not ($11)

Bart and James Cummings saddled standout colt Hallowed Crown to success in the 2014 edition of the Kindergarten Stakes, and are offered a competitive chance of defending the title via Tempt Me Not. Debuting for second in a Randwick minor in October, Tempt Me Not placed a credible fifth in the Group 3 Widden Stakes (1100m) first-up this time; running fourth in a pair of minors over 1200m through February and early March before taking out the Pantry Packers Maiden Plate (900m) most recently.
